Three Cities

The Carolinas in winter, shot where December is kind.

The films need lawns, hedges and big old trees, warm family homes, a backyard wedding at dusk, a neighborhood karaoke bar, real hospital rooms and an indoor pool with a diving board. They can’t look tropical.

We found three cities that give us all of it in one shoot week: Mexico City with Rebolucion, and Santiago and Montevideo with 24/7. Each has green, temperate neighborhoods, big old trees and houses that read as the American South, without a palm in frame.
